Community Cinema Impact Strategies - Hell and Back Again

A series of webinars held on the 1st Thursday of every month, the Communtiy Cinema Impact Strategies Webinar for Stations is an opportunity to focus on developing and delivering impact strategies, and collaborating with other stations to capture and convey stories that demonstrate Community Cinema’s overall performance and impact in communities.

This month: HELL AND BACK AGAIN

Hell and Back Again, next month’s Community Cinema film, isn’t any ordinary picture. This story of a soldier’s struggle after leaving Afghanistan is an Academy Award nominee!

Join us Thursday, March 1, at 2 p.m. ET to hear how you can engage your community with this extraordinary film. We'll have on hand a range of speakers to share strategies and case studies, including:

  • Robert West from Working Films to share the big picture overview of Hell and Back Again's national community engagement campaign, and how you can get involved through Community Cinema.
  • Mallory Rusch from The Mission Continues to give insights on working with veterans and introduce partnership opportunities for your station.
  • Jon Miskowski from Wisconsin Public Television to offer best practices to engage the veteran community. (Read about WPT’s successful veteran engagement initiative LZ Lambeau.)
